Goldy

The Cardinal collection is very personal and born from a need to find a way to incorporate a positive activity in the midst of a holiday season that became more pain than joy.  I have had some severe losses in my life that changed the trajectory of our traditions as a family. Art and creativity have always served me well as a healing medium, so it was natural for me to turn to this expression.

My mother always loved birds and especially owls and cardinals.  During the holidays she had multiple red birds displayed in various forms.  It is often said, “When a cardinal appears angels are near.” Or “That a visit from a cardinal is a loved one visiting from Heaven.”  This symbol has provided comfort, hope and a bright reminder of

love and beauty.

I hope it does the same for you.

Thank you for supporting my journey.
