Roots

It was early in the pandemic.  I had to try to find some grounding.  For me it is often found outside wandering and observing creation. Coming upon these trees whose external protection was eroded I marveled at how they still stood.  Even the one leaning was still held from falling. It was because of their roots that had previously been dug in deep.  I had to ask myself, "What were my roots that were going to hold me fast during this tumultuous time?"
